About Armaan
I'm Armaan Hans. I'm a personal trainer based in Silicon Valley, and I work with tech professionals — engineers, product managers, and executives — who want to train smarter and feel better in their bodies.
I'm ACE certified as a Personal Trainer, a Corrective Exercise Specialist, and a Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I'm currently completing the Active Life Professional program — a two-year advanced certification focused on movement assessment, pain science, and corrective programming. It's the most rigorous thing I've done in this field, and I apply everything from it to every client I work with.
I train clients at an approved Silicon Valley corporate fitness center, at their home gyms and apartment gyms, and remotely through a professional training app. I keep my client roster intentionally small — because the work I do requires full attention, not a revolving door of sessions.
Before I started Armaan Fitness, I noticed the same pattern with people who came to me having tried training before — they'd been given generic programs that didn't account for how their body actually moved. They'd gotten hurt, plateaued, or just stopped seeing the point. That's the problem I set out to solve.
Mission
Help people who are tired of training that doesn't work finally build something that does — by understanding their body first and building everything else around that.
This isn't a tagline. It's the actual reason every client starts with a movement assessment, every program is written from scratch, and every week I review how your body is responding before touching your plan.
How I Work
01
No client gets a program before a movement assessment. This is non-negotiable. The assessment tells me how your body actually moves today — what's limited, what's compensating, what's causing pain. Everything we build is grounded in those findings. A program without an assessment is just guessing.
02
Not everyone is the right client for me — and I'd rather tell you that on a free call than take your money and deliver something that doesn't actually serve you. If I think someone else can help you better, I'll say so. The free call exists for exactly this reason.
03
Your program is reviewed and adjusted every single week. I look at your check-ins, your session logs, and what your body is telling us — and I update accordingly. A static program is a program that stops working. Yours never stays the same for long.
04
I work with a deliberately small number of clients. Every client gets a program written specifically for them, every week. That level of attention is only possible when the roster stays small. It's a business decision that costs me short-term revenue and I make it anyway — because it's the only way to do this work right.
Credentials
ACE Certified
Personal Trainer
The American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer certification is one of the most widely recognized credentials in the fitness industry. It covers exercise science, program design, nutrition fundamentals, and client assessment — the foundation of everything I do.
ACE Certified
Corrective Exercise Specialist
The Corrective Exercise Specialist certification trains practitioners to identify and address movement dysfunction — the kind that leads to pain, injury, and compensation patterns. This is why I can work with clients who have pain or old injuries that other trainers have told them to just "work around."
ACE Certified
Fitness Nutrition Specialist
The Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification covers the science of nutrition as it relates to body composition, performance, and recovery. I don't prescribe meal plans — but I can speak clearly and accurately about how nutrition affects the results my clients are working toward.
In Progress
Active Life Professional
The Active Life Professional program is a two-year advanced certification covering movement assessment, pain science, and corrective programming. It's built for fitness professionals who want to work at the intersection of training and clinical practice — helping people get out of pain and build durable strength at the same time. I'm currently completing this program and applying its framework with every client I work with.
Who I Work With
I work with tech professionals in Silicon Valley — in person, at home gyms, and remotely. Here's who specifically tends to get the best results from training with me.
The First-Timer
Never worked with a trainer before or hasn't trained seriously in years. Wants to do it right from the start — not just get through a workout, but understand what they're doing and why.
The Busy Professional
Has a demanding job and limited time. Needs training that's efficient, scheduled, and doesn't require showing up and figuring it out. Every session is planned before they walk in the door.
Coming Back From Injury
Had an injury — or has chronic pain — and wants to train again without making it worse. Has probably been told to just stop doing what they love. That's not the answer, and they know it.
Client Results
"As a Silicon Valley engineer sitting at my desk all day, I had developed poor posture and recurring back pain. Since training with Armaan, my posture has improved significantly, my weak muscles are stronger, and I rarely experience back pain anymore."
— Jeffrey Lee, Software Engineer at Nvidia
"Armaan is one of the best trainers I’ve worked with since starting my fitness journey several years ago. His knowledge and experience helped me build a healthier lifestyle, and his workouts are always effective and tailored to my goals."
— Sheel Parekh, Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon
"I’ve had many personal trainers over the past 15 years, and Armaan is one of the most knowledgeable I’ve encountered. He helped me strengthen muscles that had been injured from other sports, and his workouts are both effective and enjoyable."
— J. Krishnamurthy, Software Engineer at Linkedin
