What 90 minutes of assessment actually looks like

Most trainers hand you a program on day one. That program was written before they knew anything about you.

Here is what happens instead.

First 20 minutes: history

Where it hurts, when it started, what makes it worse, what you have already tried. I want to know what your day looks like: hours seated, hours on calls, how you sleep, what you did athletically before your career took over. Pain that shows up at 2pm every day is telling a different story than pain that shows up on stairs.

Next 40 minutes: joint by joint

Ankles, hips, spine, ribs, shoulders, neck. Passive range first, so I see what the joint has when your muscles are not defending it. Then active range, so I see what you can produce yourself. The gap between those two numbers is often the most useful thing I learn about you.

Next 20 minutes: patterns under load

Squat, hinge, single-leg stance, push, pull, carry. I am not scoring you. I am watching where the movement comes from, and whether a joint that tested fine in isolation gets skipped when the whole body is working.

Last 10 minutes: the findings

I show you what I found and what I think is producing your pain. Specific numbers, specific joints. You leave knowing which thing we address first and why, and what the next four weeks look like.

“Armaan doesn't just train you, he figures out what's actually wrong first.”

What you get out of it

A root cause, not a label. A program built from your findings rather than a template. And a baseline, so when we retest in six weeks the progression is a measurement rather than an opinion.

You advance when your numbers say you are ready. Not on a calendar.
